we are one door of many

Main Street Perryville

A bookshop on its own is just a bookshop. What makes Perryville worth the drive is the whole of Merchant's Row, and a community that took us in and made room for us on it.

a little magic, a lot of neighbours

They welcomed us onto the Row

There is something a bit magic about Merchant's Row. Brick from the 1840s, doors that have been shops for longer than anyone can properly account for, and a community that made room for a small bookshop when it turned up wanting a place on the row, and said welcome.

Main Street Perryville is the name for the days that fill this street with people: the ones where every door is open at once and the whole town feels like one long afternoon. We are proud to be one of those doors, and anything we put on sits happily inside the bigger thing everyone here makes together.

with thanks from the small door at 316

Come for one shop, stay for the street.

Park once. The whole row is walkable, and most of it is older than anything you'll find in a retail park.
